The ENVE Road Handlebar is available in both a traditional and compact geometry and a variety of width options to meet the fitment needs of most cyclists. Ergonomics of the Road Bars are thoughtful and allow for a wide range of adjustability from tilt to brake/shift lever placement. To round off the finish, each ENVE Road Handlebar features dual cable routing and ENVEs Integrated Bar End Plugs.

WHY WE MADE IT
The ENVE Road Stem rounds out the ultimate ENVE cockpit by linking handlebar to fork in order to deliver a ride experience defined by responsive, confidence inspiring control. This ride quality is achieved by tuning the uni-directional carbon fiber laminate and finishing off the stem with cold forged alloy face plate and titanium hardware.

The ENVE Road Stem is a staple component in our line and often under-appreciated for the benefits it provides out on the road. The stem plays a key role by connecting your bike to your handlebars and it must manage all the forces that you the rider put into your bike. On the road the 100% uni-directional carbon body provides a lightweight structure that is torsionally and laterally stiff to ensure that inputs into steering and accelerating are positive and confidence inspiring. Over rough roads the carbon fiber laminate helps absorb vibration and reduce hand and upper body fatigue. To further reduce weight all stem hardware is constructed from lightweight titanium. The faceplate is cold-forged aluminum as it allows for a highly reliable and strong grip on the handlebar which means no slipping and responsive steering input.

WHY WE MADE IT
Your body accounts for the majority of the aerodynamic drag while riding. In order to achieve the most gains in terms of aero efficiency, one must first look at their position. The SES Aero Road Bar is proven in the wind-tunnel as not only a very fast bar in itself but also one that puts the rider into a more aerodynamic position. The SES Aero Road Bar also features a unique compact geometry, thoughtful ergonomics, and ENVE’s Integrated Bar End Plugs.

 

FULL DETAILS
The Smart ENVE System (SES) Aero Road Bar is made from 100% uni-directional carbon fiber and is the stiffest, most race oriented handlebar in the ENVE handlebar product line. The SES road bar features internal routing for mechanical and electronic systems to further save valuable watts. To further the integration with electronic groups, the bar now accommodates the housing of a junction box in the bar end. The shape of the bar is wind-tunnel and CFD tested for aero efficiency. The bulk of aero gains are made by putting the rider’s body in a fast position which can be maintained for long periods of time without sacrificing power output. Improved rider positioning is achieved by keeping the top of the bar narrow to naturally ease riders into a more aero position. The drops of the handlebar are flared for wrist clearance and confident handling in technical sprints, criteriums and descents.
